Carpet installed, closing date finalized

The carpet has been installed through the house. The pictures don't really show the proper color but it is a tan color. I am planning to put in wood floors on the first level from the entry to the living room and also to the flex room. The dining room will also be changed from carpet to wood. We didn't like the builder selections at the time and didn't like the up-charge by the builder for the flooring. The builder would also not just leave the concrete uncovered due to liability issues and letting buyers use the unfinished floors as a reason not to close in a bad economy. Carpet is easy to rip out anyway and is the easiest floor to change out. The sprinkler system has also been installed. The grass should be going in by the end of the weekend.

Our official "walk through" is next Monday and we will close on the house on July 28th.



The stained staircase is still needing a final coat of finish.
