Miscellaneous Update

Driveway is dry and the yard is leveled with dirt.

The view from upstairs out front. A new house is going up across the street and the red arrow is where the new AISD Elementary School is being constructed. It will be complete for the 2010 school year and will be Jayden's school for the 2nd grade.

This is not new but I uncovered the protective paper to show you the sink area.

Interior Progress, Driveway Forms Up

A lot of progress was made to the interior in the last few weeks. I will only post a few pictures to keep this post small. The interior paint should be completed early next week and the granite countertops go in after that.

The driveway is slightly curved on the left side due to a sewer drain being too close to where the driveway/curb cut begins.

Exterior Completed

The exterior of the house is finished (minus driveway). The insulation and drywall are installed and we are on schedule to close mid-July. I'm physically in Taiwan and Thailand at the moment so my friend and custom home builder, Curtis of Janis Construction Mgmt was kind enough to go out to check things out for me while snapping these great pictures of the finished exterior. Curtis also did our pre-drywall inspection. If you ever need a custom home, general construction work done, or home inspection,...I highly recommend his services. I should have some more pictures once I return to Texas next week.
